Rocio Tharp is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and a Certified Sex Therapist specializing in individual, couples, family and group therapy. Rocio offers bilingual services, in English and in Spanish.

With over 9 years of experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Indiana University specializing in individuals, couples, families, and group therapy, she is currently serving as a private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise are Sexual issues, sexual compulsive behavior, relational problems, post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD), anxiety issues, communication problems, conflict resolution, domestic violence, anger management problems, gender issues, stress management issues, career planning and life transitioning issues.

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Rocio has presented at an International conference level to general audiences, speaking on the topics of mental health issues for a Hispanic population, communication, parenting, stress management, and conflict resolution.

Her interactive, solution-focused and post-modern therapeutic approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach which is tailored to each client. With compassion, respect and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.


Rocio holds a degree of Master of Science in Education from Indiana University with a major in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Maria S. Salazar, LPC, NCC, MA


Maria Salazar is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a certified Professional Life Coach. While working for 10 years in Chicago, she had the chance to work with people of various cultural backgrounds.

For the past 10 years, she has been working in the research area, as a counselor, at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She participated in programs aiming to find an intervention that helps improve the quality of life of minorities. She also began her private practice. She has provided counseling and psychotherapy services to people going through different life stressors and transitions, some of who presented symptoms that might be affecting their functioning. Such symptoms could be linked to different diagnosis like anxiety, depression, trauma, and many others.


Maria holds a degree of Master or Arts in Community Counseling from Concordia University of Chicago.

Joseline Aguilar is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate that specializes in marriage and individual counseling. Joseline is certified in the evidenced based couples training Gottman Level 1 & 2, as her heart is in restoring relationships and families. In addition to working with couples, she has experience working with parents, children and adolescents. 

With the belief that the client has the answer within themselves, Joseline strives to search for solutions to improving relationships, anxiety and stress. In therapy with Joseline, you will gain clarity which then will bring the change you are  looking for.
